New Products: Monoclonal Antibodies

Through our collaboration with Biosensor Applications AB, a leader in the development of mobile equipment for drugs and explosives detection, we are now able to offer highly specific, monoclonal antibodies against drugs of abuse. All antibodies are extensively purified using state-of-the art methodology, carefully quality controlled, and functionally characterized using QCM (quartz crystal microbalance) and SAW (surface acoustic wave) biosensors. Recommended applications are biosensors, optical as well as gravimetric, ELISA, and similar applications requiring high quality, primary antibodies.

Take the opportunity to meet with Episentec at the “Next-Generation Antibodies and Protein Analysis: Tools & Technologies” conference in Gent, Belgium, 15-16 June 2015. We will present a poster showing how Label-Enhanced SPR improves the detectability and widens the dynamic range in protein and antibody analysis using Biacore™ instruments.

New Application Note 023 on antibody analysis

Label-Enhanced SPR is already a well-established tool that improves the detectability of small molecules in SPR analysis 100-fold. Our new Application Note 23 shows how also the detectability of antibodies can be improved 100-fold. The key feature here is not the enhanced sensitivity but the enhanced specificity, or in other words, the elimination of signal contributions from non-specific binding of undefined sample substances.
